GED or High School Diploma now required to receive Federal Financial Aid.
As of July 1, 2012, students seeking Federal Financial Aid must show they have qualified to obtain a college or career school education by earning GED or High School Diploma. Click here to read more.

US Immigration Update - News Flash! Deferred Action
President Obama recently initiated "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals." People under the age of 31, born before June 15 and living in the United States continuously since 2007 MAY be eligible for deferred deportation action.
 
Student enrollment, attendance and completion in ESL, GED and High School Diploma Programs at Hayward Adult School meets certain requirements for this initiative.
